Student collaboration now a days is much more necessary than it was ever before, In my student life, I have seen many nerds whom use to sit alone and do not mingle with any of our class mates. Being nerdy and bookworms they have achieved good grades but their social life was approximately nonexistent. Student life is not just about study and burying yourself in books. It’s about your view with which you see the world.

There are many platforms on which student can collaborate with each other both on domestic and on international level. But there are certain barriers in such communication. Like most of the student societies do not allow the students whom are not from their alumni to participate in their activities and then there are some cultural barriers too. For example on a website moderated by British students you will see very few people from American or Australian background. So this scenario demands a platform which is open to everyone regardless of the fact that from which university or college he belongs or in which country he lives in.

Docsity.com is that type of opportunity available for the student community, all around the globe. The most importing thing which appeared catchy to my eyes was its simple and easy process of registration. You can even log in with your Facebook account.

It has everything that a student of this technological age needs. It’s not only about educational stuff; you can also find some interesting and amazing stuff in its news section. Moreover the search mechanism of that website is so interactive and efficient that you can have answer of your desired query with in no time. Then there are credits and badge which makes the whole functionality of the website even more enjoyable. Well when I first saw that website, my own opinion was that it would be a very boring kind of educational website with the heap of notes and useless data on it. But what kind of change occurred in my views, you can have its glimpse in this writing.

Global Warming: A New Perspective

Everybody of us knows about the basic concept of global warming (thanks to the hype created by some environmentalists and conspiracy theorists). According to the prediction of these scientists, the overall temperature of world is increasing and this increase is much more than it ever happened before. They said that it would just take about 50 to 100 years and almost all of the ice sheets on the globe will melt down forcing the sea level to raise up to such extent that 27% of world’s population living in the coastal settings will be vanished.

So by using such information many NGO’s and environmental protection agencies demanded heavy taxation on environmental protection and that was the point where the finance came into this scenario. Since then billions of dollars have been spent for solving the issue of global warming. Then in the early 2000’s a new theory came that it’s not global warming, its global climate change. So the agenda was changed, new policies were made, more funds were collected costing billions of dollars to the tax payers and this went on and on for a very long time.

The point which I wanted to prove here is not that environmental protection agencies and NGO’s are useless and they should be abandoned. My point is that the problem of Global Warming (or climate change or whatever it is) is so much exaggerated. According to a new research the cracks in the polar ice sheets are started to heal and new frozen mass is being created but I bet most of you have not heard about this research. This is because these mad scientists have gone so far in their conspiracies that there is no turning back for them (even if they know that what they are supporting and claiming is wrong) and it seems logical too, what would be your credibility if after supporting a theory for 15 to 20 years you are going to say that you were wrong? So these kinds of research works are mostly suppressed by the biased media group. But what is wrong with us? Why we agree and believe on everything that is being said by these scientists regarding the global climate change? It’s your tax money that is being used in environmental expeditions. At least you should check the credibility of such claims.

As far as the global extinction is concerned: aren’t you hearing about all this fuss since your childhood? Has anything happened yet? If you say that you are not that old, ask your parents and grandparents, there must be some threats or warnings regarding the end of world in their childhood too but nothing had happened. This is because of the fact that the earth has its natural healing mechanism. If we talk about global warming and melting of ice sheets, there had been 7 ice ages in the world’s history. Each one of that melted down but did the world come to end? I was not into this topic but I decided to write upon it after reading an article on a website known as docsity.com, the name of that article was “Glacial Melting: A Warning, A Threat”. Well I seriously contradict with the views of that author but you should check it out for a comparative view.
